Nargaroth - german one-man-band of Kanwulf , is not musically very experimental. It's fast scandinavian style BM in it's finest, but nothing out of the the average. Still, it's one of the few german BM acts, who has remained loyal to raw old school style through all these years, so it has proudly gained it's place among the so called true bands.But I find it still interesting, because the lyrical topics are sometimes original and quite amusing. As you may have already noticed, I prefer black metal to be structurally as simple as possible, so I chose a track where short verse is basically repeated all over and over again (in lyrics also, it's like a suggestion chanting).
The album "Black metal ist krieg (A dedication monument)" tells the story about black metal itself. It's about the events that happened in scandinavia in the beginning of the nineties. The burning churches and murders in the inner circle etc. And there are tribute songs to the leading figures of that scene. Nargaroth has also demo titled "Fuck off nowadays black metal".
